Hello. I am a Cape Town-based journalist and editor. I have over 13 years' publishing experience in the UK, Dubai and South Africa. Until recently I was the deputy editor on Marie Claire, South Africa.

In 2014 I followed 35 cyclists riding vintage South African-built steel frame bikes on the inaugural Tour of Ara, a 6-day multi-stage race through the rugged Karoo. You can read about it here

Before that I graduated from my MA in digital journalism at Goldsmiths, University of London in December 2013 having specialised in the production of interactive features.

Flesh, Blood & Facebook is a long-form, multimedia piece I created for my final project. It explores the impact of social media on adoption reunions. I'd love you to take a look

I built the site using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript and edited video using Final Cut Pro X.

In my time as a print magazine journalist I've been the features editor on O, The Oprah Magazine, South Africa and special projects editor on Cosmopolitan, South Africa.

As a freelance journalist I've written extensively for both titles as well as Marie ClaireWomen's Health, Shape and most recently Redbulletin.com and Telegraph.co.uk.
